The ITS Decision website is maintained by the Decision Support Staff at California PATH, and is funded by the California Department of Transportation. The site gathers up-to-date information on ITS from a variety of sources and analyzes, summarizes, and presents it in an easily used format. For each User Service defined by the ITS Architecture, and provided the information is available, ITS Decision tells you how the technologies work, where they have been implemented and how they performed including an analysis of benefits, costs, system performance and problems encountered during implementation.

The site also provides extensive resources for people who want to learn more including:

• An on-line library organized by ITS topics
• ITS training and technical information
• An extensive links section and more

Currently ITS Decision contains primarily data from published sources, covering most ITS topics, and it is periodically updated as new information becomes available.
