PATH Team Gets UC Distinguished Service Award
Members of PATH's Demo '97 design and implementation group were among those honored at a reception for recipients of UC Berkeley's 1998 Distinguished Service Team Awards at the Faculty Club February 16. The annual awards recognize and reward team members "for the successful completion of a project which contributes to unit goals and Berkeley's Administrative Vision, Principles, and Values." The Demo '97 team was responsible for PATH's successful week-long demonstration of fully automated platoon vehicles traveling at freeway speeds on I-15 in San Diego, August 1997.
